Family Fridays in the Library

You have been invited to join your child and their class in our school library.

During this 25 minute slot, you can help your child and their friends chose their new library book which you can read and enjoy together at home. You will get a chance to discover the wide range of stories and texts we have available and share the excitement of reading.

At Beam, we promote reading for enjoyment and we are urging all families to help their children discover the school library’s wonderful mix of inspiring books and create reading memories together.

We are inviting the whole family to join us – parents, carers, grandparents, younger siblings etc. Please look at the attached timetable to find your child’s library time. Fill in the form below and return to your child’s teacher if you can join us.

On a Friday, you will be met at the school office and led to our library – please be on time as the library will be used by other classes after this session.

Year 6

So far, we have had Mrs Mason’s group and Year 3 bring their families to the library and it has been a great experience.

It was heartwarming to see and hear parents and children chose and talk about books with such passion. And to see parents sharing books with their own children and others in the class.
