Maternity Cover Part Time SENDCo (Special Educational Needs & Disability co-ordinator)

  • Grade:  MPS/UPS plus Inner London Allowance (£32,157 – £50,935)
  • Hours: 2 days per week
  • Contract type: Part-Time (8 months fixed term) Maternity Cover
  • Reporting to: SENDCo & Headteacher 
  • Responsible for: Working collaboratively with the SENDCO, jointly managing the SEND team.

You will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using your knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encourage learners to develop a positive and independent attitude toward their learning and development

You will jointly lead a team of Special Support Assistants to provide a highly effective education for pupils on the SEND register and in the wider school. 

 A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment that nurtures children to progress both academically and socially.
