Purpose of Post | To act as Personal Assistant to the Headteacher
providing comprehensive and professional administrative support. To plan, co-ordinate and manage the HR and personnel function across the school in liaison with the Headteacher, her Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Barking & Dagenham HR. |
The Role
We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Headteacher’s Personal Assistant, HR & Personnel Manager
The role will support the Headteacher in all administrative duties, including HR & Personnel admin.
- You will have great organisational and administrative skills and be able to work with discretion and flexibility.
- An excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills, you will be confident liaising with a wide range of audiences.

Learning Support Assistant

Purpose of Post | To provide support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) to help work towards the outcomes on their education and health care plan (EHCP) or Personal Learning Plan. This will involve working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities and supporting the pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management. |
The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated learning support assistant to join our hard-working, friendly team.
The role will support the SENDco and SEND team by:
- Building a positive relationship with the pupils, promoting high self-esteem, independence and social inclusion
- Promoting high standards of behaviour,
- Assisting with the development and delivery of individual education, group education, support and care plans
- Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and mental health needs, escalating concerns where appropriate
- Contributing to learning activities and teaching programmes for pupils with special educational needs;
- Attending relevant training;

Purpose of Post | Securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of SEND pupils during the midday break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school. Supporting children with their self care and self help; |

The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated learning support assistant to join our hard-working, friendly team.
The role will support our endeavours to promote self care and self help for our SEND children.
- Supervising the pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises.
- Lunch hall duties (e.g. organisation of children to allow safe and efficient progression from point of collection to dining hall queue, monitoring seating and exit from the dinner hall).
- Supervise children with SEND in the lunch hall;
- Encourage children with SEND to participate in turn taking and imaginative play outside (and indoors when it’s raining);
- Promote the good behaviour of pupils;
- Promote self help and independence;
