Online spelling portal where children can set their spelling words for the week to practise in a variety of engaging ways, Alongside this, pupils can choose particular rules or spelling patterns to practise through a host of interactive games.
Online reading platform whereby each pupil has their own login. Teachers set pupils at their current book band level enabling pupils to read books of that level and answer comprehension questions relating to this for interactive points and prizes.
Little Wandle Letters & Sounds
For parents of pupils aged between 4-7. Beam County Primary School follows the Little Wandle Letters & Sounds phonics scheme. This parental page has a host of supportive videos and downloadable videos to help you with aiding your child in learning to read.
Website where pupils can revise key topics related to their learning across English. In particular, BBC Bitesize offers an accessible way of revising key grammar, punctuation and spelling content through manageable chunks.
