Year 6
Welcome to Year 6
Our teachers are Mr Wilson and Mrs Kryzeiu, Mr Obaye, Mr Coker
Upper KS2 Support Staff: Mrs Winmill
Year 6 brings many new opportunities for our pupils as it is their final year at Beam. They can take on responsibilities such as Head House Captains, enjoy a residential trip to Trewern, work towards achieving well in their KS2 SATs examinations, and celebrate their primary school achievements in our final Leavers' Assembly.
We have an exciting and varied year ahead with a wide range of subjects to study. Below are some of the many exciting topics pupils will learn in the Autumn Term.
Poetry inspired by a RE-lesson
Raima and her peers have been studying 'Life after Death' in RE. The opening lesson examined similes and metaphors for life, inspiring Raima to go home and create her poem, 'Life is like the ocean.'
